Surgical Training
Dr. Seify has completed nearly 13 years of post-graduate training, including general and plastic surgery as well as a Doctor of Science degree from Emory University. He acquired advanced training in endoscopic plastic surgery and was involved in research related to this field. His findings have been presented and published in numerous peer-reviewed journals. While training at the Emory Clinic, world-renowned for aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, Dr. Seify honed his skills and expertise with a special interest in breast implant surgery.Additional Professional Engagements
In addition to pursuing his private practice in plastic surgery, Dr. Seify invests his time in various other related professional activities. He has authored and published scientific articles, contributed to chapters in medical textbooks, and presented papers nationally and internationally. Since 2008, he has participated as a visiting professor to hospitals abroad performing surgeries on civilians and veterans as well as training other surgeons on new methods and techniques. His practice has a unique collaboration with Emory University inviting international guest plastic surgeons to participate both in training and research.Teaching and Community Work
Dr. Seify currently serves as an assistant clinical professor at the UCLA School of Medicine and is a clinical assistant professor at the University of California at Irvine (UCI medical center). He is affiliated with premier hospitals including Hoag, Saddleback, and Fountain Valley hospitals. He currently serves as president of the worldwide American Cancer Network created to help children and adults diagnosed with cancer. He is also a board member of several healthcare organizations including United Doctors of California, and Future Care.Professional Affiliations
